Helene Panzarino is a banking-innovation consultant, educator, and evangelist. As a commercial banker and respected fintech evangelist, she has a deep understanding of the forces, threats, and opportunities reshaping the global financial industry. As an educator, she has developed world-leading programmes that explore those forces and the industry’s most innovative responses to them.
Helene was named on Innovate Finance’s Women in Fintech Power List 2019, recognising her work driving change in the fintech space.
James Haycock, Vice President at Capgemini Invent called her 2020 book Reinventing Banking & Finance: “a must-read for every forward-thinking banking executive”.

Helene is Chief Banking and Fintech Evangelist for Vacuumlabs, working with incumbent banks, scale accelerators and venture-capital funds to develop digital-banking propositions.
Education
Helene created the world’s first fintech-focussed Master’s-degree content for UCL and was co-creator of Imperial College’s fintech and digital banking programme for executives.
A twice published author, her recent book, Reinventing Banking and Finance was named the #1 banking book for 2021 by Investopedia.
Recognised as a pioneer and a thought leader, she was chosen by Google/FT an EU Digital Pioneer, Computer Weekly 100 Women in Tech, Innovate Finance Women in Fintech Powerlist, and FinTech Magazine 100 Women in FinTech.

Most influential women in UK tech list
Always very happy to be on the ComputerWeekly.com most influential women in UK tech list, alongside superwomen such as Anne Boden, Carina N., Joanne Smith & Shefali Roy, who actively create and support the UK tech ecosystem because it recognises my contribution to UK tech, but also serves to remind me to continue to grow, learn and engage.
New UK digital bank
In this last year, I have experienced the digital banking platform build in very close quarters with a team I advise, joined the advisory team for a new UK digital bank, and taken on an active advisory role in a regtech that identifies and supports vulnerable customers. All these recent tech experiences didn't mean that I stopped helping tech founders understand their finance and growth during these very testing times.

These industry experiences also added to the value I am able to offer via The London Institute of Banking & Finance, and we are now partnering with tech education providers to round out the experience. The learning never stops.
I've shared some of this knowledge and experience in the Investopedia top banking book for 2022 (Reinventing Banking and Finance) and am inspired to research and write in some new areas, which will come to market in 2023.
